Brother Jacob DOUBLE PORT 9° is the first Belgian beer to be enriched with postage. This never-before-seen combination creates a new wind in the Belgian beer landscape. The postage we add is a tawny matured for 5 years on an oak barrel from the Quinta Santo Antonio in Regua in the Douro Valley. Through fermentation in the bottle, this beer can evolve to a vintage and has the mirabelle, plum, walnut and oak. The very long and velvet aftertaste is also haunting. The dark color and the solid foam head with the color of coffee also give the beer a nice visibility. Ideal as a food pair with eg wild pigeon, duck and various game dishes.
