Bootjes Bier is the name of a Belgian beer of high fermentation. The beer is brewed by the Antwerp brewery company.
The Red Star Line, a Belgian shipping company that operated a regular service between Antwerp and New York, has been an inspiring source during the development of the beer. The beer creates a bridge between Belgian specialty beers – known for balance and balance – and the more expressive American craft beers. The recipe brings together process-like aspects of the brewing cultures as well as ingredients: mix of Belgian and American hops, typical Belgian and American herbs, and is brewed with the historical yeast of Seefbier. The beer was launched in 2015 and has already won several prizes, including the title of World’s Best Belgian Pale Aleat the World Beer Awards in 2016.
