Blonde version of the Alpaïde. The taste of this tripel was composed by the general from Hoegaarden, tasted and approved. This beer is named after Countess Alpaïde, who ruled the county of Bruningerode during the early Middle Ages. She founded the chapter Huardis that later got the name Hoegaarden.
