“SPECIAL” THE RYCK is a typical, amber-colored Special Belge Ale of high fermentation.
It is a fresh, spicy beer with a slightly bitter malt taste and a soft, fruity aroma. This special belge is brewed according to the original recipe and method of 1920 with pure malt and hops. This type of beer was then brewed to offer, after the war period, a tasteful and typically Belgian and drinkable alternative to the German pilsner beer which then flooded the market.
