Malheur Cuvée Royale was first brewed in 2005 to commemorate Belgium’s 175th anniversary. It is a blonde sparkling beer with 9% alcohol by volume, matured and bottled “à la méthode originale” with the processes of “rémuage” (turning) and “dégorgement” (whereby only the ambient pressure in the bottle is used to force the yeast.
