Description
The Graal Triverius:
– 6.8% alc.;
– not sweet, dry wheat beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle since December 2003;
– bitter thirst-quenching;
– with coriander and orange peel;
– the style is a mix between a wheat beer and a triple. That is why the Triverius is classified with the “double white”.
Hieremias De Drijvere or De Drivere was born in 1504 in Nederbrakel as the son of Jeroom, a surgeon. This contemporary of Keizer Karel was a brilliant student at the University of Leuven where he was the first to teach modern medicine. According to the customs of that time, this excellent scholar also gave his name a Latin touch, and was called Triverius or Thriverius.
